We have a number of learners each year, particularly on ESOL, who are on variable employment contracts. We currently ask to see their last three wage slips. However, many of them are agricultural workers, so when they enrol in September they have been earning much higher wages over the summer, which doesn't necessarily represent their earnings for full year.
What kind of evidence do you ask for in this situation?
