Right, it feels like you're describing what should happen? What does it say in the Hybrid End Year column? That's the one that matters.
Also, other weirdness (and feels like more weirdness than last year, certainly) being discussed here:

Hi Steve, thanks for replying to me. In the Hybrid year it it says "2025.5". Just double checked and the learners have a planned end date of March 2027 and but left the programme in November 2025. So reading the guidance they should be counted in QAR next funding year, unless I'm misunderstanding something.
thanks, just checking out the link. very weird!

QAR 25/26

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me with a QAR query.
I'm reviewing the R10 QAR data report and have noticed that some learners are appearing under QAR Status and QAR Inclusion, even though they withdrew during the 2025/26 funding year and have a planned end date in the 2026/27 funding year.
Unless I'm misunderstanding the rules, I thought these learners would be included in the 2026/27 QAR, as that's the latest of the Planned End Date, Learning Actual End Date, and Reporting Year.
Has anyone else come across this, or am I misunderstanding how the QAR year is determined?
