Created

Hi there

Our degree apps awarding EPAO is still showing as a Warning for all learners on our Rule Violation report 6 months after start date, I thought this would clear up after the first month. any advice would be welcomed

Which warning is it?

(also, it's a warning, it doesn't matter)

'End point assessment organisation' may be wrong. It's not a recognised organisation for the standard you're delivering on the planned end date of the apprenticeship. Check 'end point assessment organisation' and 'planned end date' are correct.

Now, this used to be easy when they made that big spreadsheet with all of the valid EPAOs on it but then they TOOK IT AWAY FROM US, so the only option is to look here https://find-epao.apprenticeships.education.gov.uk/courses for the standard and see if you come back. If you *do* then maybe you've mistyped the EPAO code in the ILR?

Super DUPER annoyingly, the only place the ILR code exists on the website above is IN THE URL which is absolutely DREADFUL UX...

Hi there, they are not on the list :-(.

I have the email from the uni with their EPAO number....

Steve Hewitt

Would send the link back to them saying "um, where are you please?"

Paul Rogers

From what I can see, the ILR file for 26/27 is deciding to send through the UKPRN number of the EPAO as opposed to the EPAO reference for some. The indicative funding report is showing this for some providers, and for those using the enter learner data system, so it could be that they need to fix something in R02 to resolve it, but as Steve notes, it does not affect funding at all.

Steve Hewitt

It's doing what in the where now???

That's a very special problem to have... Although, the Spec says UKPRNs are fine in that field, who knew?

ILR Specification 2026 to 2027: Field: Assessment organisation ID

Afternoon

So I can try using the UKPRN instead of the EPAO ID?

I have gone back to the EPAO for them to contact the help desk because they are still not on the list of EPAOs assessing the standard....

I suspect the UKPRN will also fail the validation if they're just not on the list?

Although, I was told that EPAOrgID_01 was *meant* to be being changed to a warning, rather than an error? Has this not happened?

Jolly good, so just sort it out with the AO as soon as you can, it's not going to stop you getting paid!
