Hi everyone,
I'm new to 16-19 funding and would appreciate some advice from colleagues with experience of Supported Internships.
For the 2026-27 funding year, are there any particularly useful resources, training sessions, webinars, or practical guides that help explain the funding rules and compliance requirements?
Regarding Maths and English for Supported Internships, how are providers evidencing this for funding and audit purposes? What documentation are you retaining, and how are you recording learners' participation or progression where standard qualification routes may not be appropriate?
The DfE guidance on Supported Internships seems quite broad regarding Maths and English exemptions. What criteria are providers using to determine when a learner can be exempt, and what evidence is retained to support that decision?
Any advice, examples of good practice, or resources would be greatly appreciated.
