QAR - Withdrawal and then restart
Created
None
We have a learner that left in early 2025/6 whose planned end date was in 2026/7 which means their hybrid year would be 2026/7.
This month it has been agreed that they can return to the standard to complete their apprenticeship. The restart has been added with a RES indicator but no original start date as recommended, with RPL for previous knowledge and to reduce the TNP1/2. Their planned end date is September 2027 therefore their hybrid year end for this period will be 2027/8.
I have read the QAR guidance and as the restart will not match back to the previous period of learning it will mean that they will show as a leaver in 2026/7 impacting QAR and assuming they then achieve will show as an achiever impacting QAR in 2027/8. Is that correct?
