Please can someone advise on the following :
An apprentice started on 20/11/18 aged 17 years and turned 19 on the 2/10/2020 - prior to going on an ABL due to lockdown, she had already completed 12 months of her apprenticeship on the 20/11/19 - this learner when on agreed break from April 20 to September 20. Should she be paid the national minimum wage when she turned 19? She had been in learning 16 months prior to the break and then returned to learning one month before her 19th birthday. MTIA
