Can anyone clarify a query for me in relation to study programme, please?
Where a learner has a planned end date of 31st July, does this require the qualification to certificated or pending certification by the 31st July or is it just that learning is completed and signed off by the assessor by the 31st July? If the actual end date is 31/07/2021, and they are IQA approved in August and then EQA approved/certificated in August/September, my understanding is that the achievement date would be the date the learner is IQA/EQA approved, depending on DCS status.
Also, where R14 asks for anything up to and including the 31st July to be reported, if a learner was due to complete on the last day of the academic year and they do complete learning therefore actual learning end date is a July date, but the certificate is not released until mid August, giving an achievement date of August, would this show as an achievement in the same contract year? Is this recorded as an activity prior to 1st August even though the certificate is after this date?
