Yeah, I think it's one of those things that would cause an eyebrow to be raised, for precisely the reasons you mention, is this "evidence" you/we/an auditor can rely on?
Even if it's not done at the time, being able to string together a narrative from what *is* there is the key bit. So, if the record on the system just says:
1 July 21: Team meetings 30 hours
That's kind of junk, not least because there are only 24 hours in a day!
If there's a narrative, even if it's sparse, that lists, say 10 three hour meetings (with dates?) and a (brief?) description of what happened, that feels more like it's going to be understood and agreed?
But yes, worst case scenario, an auditor looks at the evidence, say "this is junk, I'm not counting it" and the learner ends up with only 19.5% OTJ and ALL THE MONEY is taken back...

Off the Job training - records of delivery
Created
Hi All,
I was recently asked the question around bulk uploading evidence of Off-The-Job training onto the Apprenticeship Portfolio. They have asked if there is any implication at the time of completion / audits / against funding rules. As a rule we discourage bulk uploads in this area as we wish to clearly see details of times it was delivered and what they may have been taught/learnt to ensure its applicable to the standard delivered. Also we would want to questions if a subject is still off-the-job ( if its the same thing been delivered for a high amount of hours are they learning anything new).
The reason why the question was raised is some learners don't always record their entries straight away or same month (they are fully encouraged to). They have tried in the past to upload a entries which for example is 30 hours of team meetings delivered over a period of time, uploaded against one day.
There is nothing I can see in all the guides that states that they cant do this; so now I am curious as to peoples thoughts in this area and would it in fact affect audits or the funding rules (or anything else)?
Thoughts welcomed
