If your MI system will let you (and there will be a way, but it might not be pretty!), you'll need to pull the 19/20 records into this year's ILR and add the Original Start Date (changing nothing else), so it links up with the dangling record.
Potential problem with that is the 19/20 record might end up with a Hybrid End Year of 2020 instead of 2019 because it's being *reported* this year, although I'm still unclear exactly how that happens...
Not aware of any other options apart from "take it on the chin" (also, "make sure it doesn't happen again"!)?

Apprentice BIL in previous year now showing as Withdrawn

Subject: Apprentice BIL in previous year now showing as Withdrawn even though they have Achieved
We have an apprentice who in 18/19 went on a break in learning, they returned a month later, continued and achieved their apprenticeship. The returning record and BIL record have not been matched up because there wasn’t an Original Start Date entered. Now they are showing in this year’s data as a WD due to being in a BIL for over 12 months. Is there a way we can rectify this? They are not in our ILR data for this year as they are not currently in any learning, the BIL record was in the 18/19 ILR. This is now having a negative affect on our QAR etc. We need to be able to close off the BIL record and match it up with their returning record which was in the 18/19 and 19/20 ILR.
