Apprentice lives in England, employer registered in Scotland

Hoping someone can help me!

We have an apprentice that's changing employer, she lives in England and will be a home based worker but her employer is registered in Scotland (they don't have any offices in England).

I'm not sure where we stand with the funding rules on this, technically she'll be spending 100% of her working hours in England but won't have a registered English workplace location as she works from home.

Does anyone know if this is allowed?  And if so how what do I put as her delivery location postcode and ERN as I guess I can't request to generate an ERN against a learners home address?

Any help would be much appreciated as I seem to be going round in circles with this.

You can leave the delivery location postcode as it is, see note from ILR specifications.

This should be the delivery location at start. There is no requirement for providers to update this information if the learner's delivery location changes.

As for the employer number the guidance for Self-employed learners is they will require an employer number from the EDS so you could try this or use the Scottish head office address.

Hi, my understanding is that the apprentice should work at least 50% in England to qualify for an English apprenticeship funding. I think Scottish funding rule may have the same or similar rules.
