The Employer ID must be returned for apprentices.

The validation rules say:

"If the learner is undertaking an apprenticeship programme and is 'in paid employment' on the programme start date, then there must be an Employer identifier that applies to the programme start date."

For the first 60 days it is permissible to enter EmpID as 9999999999

(to allow time for you to confirm the EDRS ref no for the employer)

Hi Martin

I have entered this code into the Agreement ident: box and it still gives me the same error, should I be entering this somewhere else as well? or is this not the correct palce.

Hi.

The box where you have put 999999999 is where the agreement ID 6 digit code should go.  You can get this from DAS, go into individual learner and it shows under 'Overview'

I don't know what system you are using so not sure where you would put the 999999999.

Hope this helps

The field is LearningEmploymentStatus.EmpID    (this is labelled Employer Identifier in the Learner Entry Tool).
