The ILR should reflect the reality of the situation, as the learner will be a carry over to 21/22 but needs to repeat the first year due to covid then I would suggest you withdraw them from their first day back and transfer them to the 2 year aim so that they can repeat year 1.

CAn anyone help me, I am new to CIS Role and I am trying to work out how to record a 16-19 student who completed last year but due to personal resaon needs to restart the learning aim this year. I am unsure as to whether or not I completed last year programme off (compstatus 2) and have a new 2 year programme starting this academic year or if this is completely wrong. Any help is gratefully recieved.
Example is: learner started September 20 in year 1 with a programme end date in 2022, completed the year with poor attendance due to Covid so needs to restart Year 1.
