I just found this post - it may be a bit late.
I think you have confused OfQual's role -there are probably listed as the EQA, not an EPAO.
You cannot start an apprentice on a new standard until an End Point Assessment Organisation has been approved - and an EPAO cannot apply to register the standard until it has been published. The EPAO will also have to be approved by OfQual for the new standard, so realistically it will be several months until new starts are possible.

We wish to begin delivery of a standard that was approved by the IfATE last month. It is on the "Find a learning aim" hub so we have a code for the standard. However it is not yet available to add to the course directory and they tell me that could take 6-12 weeks. The EPA is listed as OfQual and we don't know the EPA cost yet.
Is it safe to start delivering this Standard? Do we need to let our ESFA manager know that we are going to deliver it?
