Functional Skills – Key Skills Acceptable Exemptions?

Hi, just for clarity I am correct in thinking that Key Skills certificates are acceptable for a learners exemption for functional skills on an apprenticeship?

Hi all - is a 'Certificate of Key Skills Achievement Application of Number -  2N' the same as a Key Skills Cert Level 2 Application of Number?  I have not seen the grade set out like this before i.e. 2N and cannot find any information.  The qualification was achieved in 2007.
