Right to work visa
Created
We understand that an apprentice must have a right to work visa in the UK at the point of entry to their apprenticeship, and would become exempt at a later date should their visa status change and they lose the right to work in the UK. However can you please confirm, for example, if we have an applicant for a 6 year apprenticeship programme, who has a four year visa at the time they make their application, can we accept them onto the apprenticeship?
They wouldn't be able to apply to renew until much closer to the expiry date so in answer to your question Id say yes you can enrol them. The risk obviously is if they dont get it renewed they would be a withdrawal in your data.
