Care Leaver Bursary - Evidence

Created

None

We have a learner who has stated that they are a Care Leaver.. When asked to fill out the Care Leaver Bursary form they have stated the following 'I have also filled out the bursary form, however the Young People Service housing company that I was under was shut down not long after I was given my permanent housing. Is there any other evidence or professional who’s verification will be accepted?'

The funding rules state: 'You must have evidence that the apprentice is eligible for this payment before you claim or are funded for any associated additional payments for you or the employer. This must be a signed email or letter from a local authority appointed personal advisor confirming that the apprentice is a care leaver.'

Would anyone be able to advise what other type of evidence / or from whom, the learner would be able to provide?

Thanks

No other evidence will do it must be a signed email or letter from a local authority appointed personal advisor confirming that the apprentice is a care leaver.
