ERN only 8 digits

Created

None

An organisation has provided us with an ERN of only 8 digits (which was standard before 2001).  But the ILR needs a 9 digit number.  Anyone know how I can get around this?

Thanks

This must be a valid Employer ID number from the Employer Data Service (EDS). This is a nine digit number, have you checked it with EDS?

A colleague is trying to check it on the EDS but the Organisation has over 40 entries.  I have the colleague to check if they all have the same ERN number or not.

All the sites (by Postcode) the employer operates from will have a different number; I know of a few with over 1000 sites.
