Reservations and start dates - Waivered fees

We have an apprentice who was 18 at the start of his programme and from an SME employer and so his fees were waivered. He started in September 2020 and we received payments up until R13 when they were all clawed back, because we hadn't realised that apprentices who have their fees waivered still needed a DAS account.
We have just set their DAS account up, but the employer only had the option to enter September 2021 (or later) as a start date.
My question is, do we now need to amend the start dates in the ILR and will this impact the waiver as he will be 19 at this new start date?

You and possibly the employer will need to contact the AS to resolve this.
