The error is not for the ES records but for the ES monitoring type and code so you will need to check these.
If an Employment status monitoring type is returned (EmploymentStatusMonitoring.ESMType is known), the Employment status monitoring code must be a valid lookup for that Employment monitoring status type.
Hi Martin West I am working with Ella on this. Please could you tell me what EII 2 stands for? and which field this applies to on the learner entry tool? (Sorry, we are new providers!)

Employment status ILR error
Edited
EDIT for clarification: We are getting the following error for an apprentice on ILR: ESMType_11 DateEmpStatApp=14/03/2021| The Employment status monitoring type and code is not valid for the Employment status date.
There are 2 ILR errors. The first error (EmpStat=(missing) was caused by the employment status date not being before the 1st September. We resolved that by adding a previous employment before this date but it created a new error ESMType_11
The apprentice started employment on 1st September which was also the first day of learning. As only entering 1st September gave us an error (EmpStat=(missing), we resolved it by entering two employment status records one starting from 14/03/21 for the previous employment and one for 01/09/21 for the current with us. This then produced the new error ESMType_11. Does anyone know how to correct this?
