Does anyone know the exact date that you can destroy documents that have ESF match funding?
I can't see anything in our old AEB contracts about document retention.
The response I got back from the service desk was "In general terms yes - 6 years for apps and 16 -19 and 12 years for any AEB that was match funded"
Thanks
Chris
Hi Chris,
I asked a colleague in our MIS team for you and this is their response. Not sure if it helps at all:
I believe 2030, can double check online but think its 10 years that it needs to be retained and I think match funding ended in 2020 due to leaving EU but could be wrong. Just go with 10 years be safe.
All supporting documentation evidencing the delivery of the ESF project must be
kept for a period of three years from 31 December following the submission of the
accounts in which the expenditure of the programme is included. The retention of
Documents date is currently 31 December 2030, but you will be notified of any
change to this date.

Retention of ILPs
Edited
Hello,
We are about to start digitally archiving our paper records which include ILPs. I just wanted to check if I understand correctly, if the funding was match funded with ESF we need to keep ILPs from 2014 until 31st December 2030? What do other providers do?
