R14 Submission

I assume you are using the ILR learner entry tool?  You need to use the latest version for the Academic year 2020 to 2021 - version 2021.6.  The version you are using is for this academic session (2021-2022).

I have version 2021.4 for that years' learners.  Will this be ok?  Also, some learners from this academic year are also on that version.  Will this matter?

I don't use the ILR learner entry tool but I'd advise that you download the latest version for 2020-21, you should be able to import your XML file into the new version.

R14 is for learners that are on programme from 1st August 2020 - 31st July 2021, so you would need to remove any learner that has started this academic year.

Taken from the Provider Support Manual: "The following should not be returned in the final ILR return for the current year (R14), but should be returned in the following year:

• Learning aims that start after 31 July 2021
• Actual end dates after 31 July 2021
• Achievement dates after 31 July 2021"

The 2021 Learner Entry Tool shouldn't be used for 2122 starters, but you can 'exclude from export' any that have been entered, and then generate your R14 using the 2021 tool.
