BIL Covid April 2020

Created

Hi,

Can everyone remember if it was written down anywhere that for anyone taking a BIL in March 2020 due to covid, you used 01/04/2020 as your actual end date? I'm positive it was written down specifically as 01/04/2020, but this guidance doesn't mentioned that Record coronavirus (COVID-19) related breaks in learning in the ILR – Apprenticeship Service Support (education.gov.uk)

I think it was discussed a lot on the old FE connect site, but it seems access to that has been cut off?

Thanks

Yes, it definitely was!

I can see (from my email archive) that I started a thread about it on FEConnect and am now trying to find it via the wayback machine, without a great deal of success...

it *was* here:

http://feconnect.education.gov.uk/forums/topic/important-further-guidance-on-breaks-in-learning-7-april/

and linked, I assume, to this Update:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/esfa-update-7-april-2021/esfa-update-further-education-7-april-2021

but all of the links there are annoyingly generic and just go to current versions...
