R131 affecting Apprentices only

Why have you used 01/08/2021?

For Apprenticeships you should have one prior attainment record with a date the matches the Programme aim start date. You do not record prior attainment for any component aims.

If they progress to another Apprenticeship or other learning you can then enter a new record if it has changed from the previous one.

Adding that was the only way to clear the error on our MIS and allow the apprentices to go through on the R02 as they all errored on R01. So if an apprentice started in 11/01/2021 this is the only thing that should be on prior attainment is that date? Unless tey finish that and start something else? 

Yes as it reflects the prior attainment for the learning plan the learner is undertaking and not necessarily each individual aim.

I have amended so there is just the one date in this case 15/06/2021, the R131 has cleared but it has now changed error code to PriorAttain_01 against the aim Z0001925 which started on the same date

If you already have a prior attainment with the same date that should be ok and you should not get an error, it is either a problem with your MI system of an issue with the validation rules but I do not get the same.
