Training Provider has ceased trading.

We have been approached by a learner to enrol on our Functional Skills provision. The learner was previously enrolled with another provider which has very recently ceased to trade. How would we find out if the previous provider has withdrawn the learner? In this situation would the ESFA intervene and arrange for learners to be transferred to a new provider? Would we be able to enrol this learner if they haven’t been withdrawn?
Any advice appreciated.

Assuming this is AEB, it should be fine, regardless of what's happened at the other provider? If they've gone bust, fair chance their ILR wasn't finished off properly but, assuming they haven't falsely claimed the learner has achieved, it's unlikely to pop up anywhere?
