End dates after a break in learning
Created
None
1. When the learner returns from their break and the provider re-plans delivery, should the end date only be extended by the length of the break, or can it be set to any date if agreed with the learner and employer? Thinking of circumstances where a learner has been out of learning for quite a while and may need to re-learn some of the content they had already covered prior to the break.
2. When the apprentice's end date is changed after returning from a break, should the employer change the end date on DAS?
Thank you for any advice.

The planned end date must be extended to ensure that any minimum duration requirements (from the funding rules and the Standard specifications) are met then it is not an issue, but it is not necessary to change the end date in DAS.
