Signature for recorded learning/reviews

Created

None

Good afternoon,

If we record reviews or a teaching and learning session rather than just a typed up document, with all participants stating their name and the date at the beginning, would we still need a wet or electronic signature alongside this, or would the intro suffice for audit?

Thanks

You would have to have some evidence to show who attended. For example if you record a lesson in zoom/ teams, you can download the attendance report afterwards. What type of funding is this for?

Thanks Kelly that's really useful. This is for apprenticeships, FM36.

Personally, I've not heard of providers completing meetings/reviews without documenting them and I'm not sure just recording them will wash well with auditors. Do you not use any form of a e-portfolio system?

Yes we do but we have to use signable for the signatures so there's a lot of copying or transferring between systems. Happy to still get a document signed alongisde the recorded review, we just wasn't sure if it was needed if the recording states date and attendees

We're moving systems in the new year which will make this process easier! Thanks for your help
