As the Apprentice may go through the EPA gateway 2 without fully completing and being awarded the relevant Level 3 development/skills based competency qualification under the Covid-19 temporary discretion then there is no need to continue delivering these qualifications and they should have been recorded as either withdrawn or completed with no achievement at the gateway point. I assume if you wish to continue delivery of these aims they should be continued as unfunded transferred aims not related to the Programme or standard.

Thank you for your quick reply and for your suggestions which I find very useful. As they still work towards those component aims I find the second option quite reasonable and I will transfer them to unfunded aims.

Passed EPA without completing all the components

Hi, I have returned an apprentice who has recently passed his EPA for the following apprenticeship ST0457. Because the employer signed a competence agreement and IFATE stated that some of the requirements have been removed the apprentice was able to sit and pass his EPA without completing all the component aims. Now I get the following error: The Learning actual end date of the component aims must be returned for this programme, R90. That is because I've closed the EPA record and the programme aim but I don't know how to return the following 2 components which the apprentice is still working towards: 60338453 and 60171790.
I would really appreciate your advice, thank you.
