Hi

We have a full time learner that has been on role from End September to Christmas (approx 11 weeks).She is not returning to us in 2022 as father has moved to Scotland to take a new job.

How do I rectify the ILR to withdraw her and only claim for the hours delivered ?

OK, so because she's a leaver, she'll affect your retention factor in two years' time. You DO NOT change the hours on a learner who has passed the threshold and then withdrawn, that's how lagged funding works.

Thanks for the reply.So the learner will still be fully funded for us even though she withdraws after 3 months ?

Well, kind of, but that's not really how lagged funding works, certainly for grant funded providers. The money you get now is based on who you had last year, not who is in the classroom right now.

(Slightly more complicated for contracted providers, but still basically the same concept!)
