The Apprentices should have a copy of the Apprenticeship Agreement and commitment statement from the previous period of their Apprenticeship, and you should be able to calculate from the CAP the maximum funding previously drawn down by the previous provider, you can then compare this to your training costs for completing the Apprenticeship. Where the remaining funding exceeds the remaining amount over the CAP they will be advised on DAS.

We have a potential learner who started their apprenticeship with a different training provider and completed 8 months with them. The provider is no longer trading and the apprentice wants to continue their apprenticeship. How can we find out how much funding the original training provider received?
