Have you guys double checked that there hasn't been any learning since, as if you have been keeping up to date with them something must have been taking place?
We have verified that logging into onefile for example and using the activity log sounds as last learning date.
Another note - they should have been placed on a break in learning once they were no longer in active learning and this would allow a very simple withdrawal.
1. They definitely SHOULD NOT be on a BIL just because they're not active, you MUST follow the flowchart in the Rules to decide whether it's a BIL, a provider cannot unilaterally decide it is.
2. If their last learning was in the previous year, then that is what you must record in the ILR. This is not a major problem. Any funding in this year will disappear, and any that was erroneously claimed in last year should be paid back via EAS, although this is perhaps not as straightforward as it could be...

Removing a learner from previous financial year.
Created
Hi everyone,
We have a learner who we have been trying to stay on track with and they have now finally told us that they are withdrawing. Their last official date of learning was in the financial/academic year of 1st August 2020 to 31st July 2021. I have no idea how to record this as we are now well into this current year. Can anyone help at all? Thanks in advance.
