OTJ - Transferred learner

Created

If a learner transfers to us having completed 300 hours with previous provider and we can evidence these hours, can we use them ourselves?

I know we need to work out OTJ planned for the duration with us so lets say they only need 20 hours with us but the OTJ has all been completed with the previous provided can we use the actual 300 or do we have to do another 20 hours just with us?

TIA

Thanks Martin,

Speaking with a colleague who had an auditor say yes and I questioned that but difficult when an auditor has said something already. Have you had that direct from the ESFA? I will pop them a ticket in too but needed a quicker answer.

In the guidance (ILR Specifications) it is clear the OTJ hours recorded are only those with the current provider.
