Return to Learning - Signing of documentation
Created
None
Hi
We have a learner who was on a Break In Learning in August however we have recently been informed that they returned to the programme 10th Sept - 7th Jan. We need to issue a new Commitment Statement to reflect the return to learning and updated training plan..
Unfortunately the learner left their employment in November by way of redundancy however they were able to continue on programme in accordance with P28.1.1.
The query I have is whether we should reach out to the employer with whom they were employed with at the time of the RTL (10th Sept - 7th Jan) to sign the commitment statement. The date of signature would reflect the current date. Would this be a problem as they would still be the accountable employer for the time period in question.
