The learner has only one ZPROG (we have not created a new program aim), and we have added new TNP records with the dates that they are applicable from (in the current academic year). So the original ZPROG now has two sets of TNP 1 / 2 records – the first set are from the start date (05/05/2021) and the second set are from the new date in this financial year (04/10/2021).
As far as I can tell, this should not be generating dual ZPROGS. Could the issue be that the old TNP 1 / 2 records are no longer required on the ILR because they are for a previous funding year?
Did your accounts manager indicate if they were referring to the ILR or was it the monthly payments report that would have had two entries as you had revised the TNP price after 01/08/2021?
The guidance for this is:
- For changes in total price, we will apply the new price from the 'Apprenticeship financial record date'. After applying the funding band maximum, we will subtract any earnings to date and 20% of the new total price for completion. We will spread the remainder equally over the remaining planned duration.
If this is what you expect then the two entries would be correct.

Dual ZPROGS - Help

Hello all I hope someone can help?
Our ESFA account manager mentioned in a recent meeting that we have 2 ZPROGS for one of our learners. The ILR only shows one ZPROG however our reports show dual.
We made an adjustment to the funding values (downwards) and input new TNP1 and TNP2 values with start and end dates that match the original start and end dates (following the change in circumstances section in the technical guidance). Did we do something wrong as i believe we arent to supposed to ammend the original record? Any help would be greatfull appreciated.
