Incorrect Start and Expected End dates in 2020/21
Created

Good morning. We've just conducted an internal audit on some of our learners and have come across a handful from a single employer who all started a month later than originally planned, and will have their expected end date pushed out by a month. They've been recorded in the ILR has running from Jan21-Jan23 instead of Feb21-Feb23. Can I correct this in the ILR (I know I can correct the expected end date by doing a restart) but is there a way to correct the start date? Or would I be better acknowledging the error in the learner file?
Thanks

The guidance is: Data entry errors found in ILR data can usually be corrected as soon as the error is found, as long as the error was made in the current teaching year.
