Break in Learning

We have an apprentice that enrolled on a 15month apprenticeship in Nov21 - she has since gone on maternity leave and is not contactable (her pregnancy was not declared at induction.)

A colleague has suggested a Break in Learning but when I follow this through on the Break in Learning flowchart it appears this would be a withdrawal instead, I'm guessing because the apprentice did not request the break.

Am I reading the flow-chart correctly?

You are reading it correctly so it would be a withdrawal if they did not request a BIL.

They may restart in the future.
