AchDate_12 Error

Must be 1 & 8 on the Programme aim

We have the same rule violation where they have completed learning but have not yet completed EPA.  We have recorded the Outcome as code 8 ‘Learning activities are complete but the outcome is not yet known’ and the completion status as 2 - Completed.  We have recorded the ACT as the same date as the last day of learning.  This is what it advises in the Provider Support Manual for 2021/22.

Any ideas why we are getting this please?

Not sure what part of the PSM you are reading but:

Only when the end point assessment period for the apprenticeship standard is complete is the completion status updated from 1 to 2.

The Date applies to must be recorded on the latest Apprenticeship contract type FAM record as the same date as the achievement date for the programme aim and not the same day as the last day in learning.

Apprentice ends training and gateway point confirmed:

LearnActEndDate – enter last day in learning

Compilation Status – remains as 1

Outcome – enter 8 (learning activities completed but outcome unknown)

ACT Date To – remains blank

OTJActHours – enter actual

On Completion of EPA:

Achievement Date – Date EPA completed

Completion Status – Update to 2

Outcome – as appropriate (for Pass or fail)

ACT Date To – set to same as Achievement Date

I had the same error, 'AchDate_12' with error message 'The Achievement date must be returned', I have followed the above guidance from Martin and changed the completion status to 1, however, this has not worked for me, I now have the following error messages:

When you have stated: Must be 1 & 8 on the Programme aim, is this programme aim only? so we don't make any changes to the component aim?

Yes the above is for the Programme aim only (Aim Type 1), component aims must be recorded as completed with an outcome of achieved to meet the gateway requirements.

Thank you for your reply. 

My outcome had always been 8 as the learners had not yet achieved, but i had selected 2 for the completion status which i have now updated to 1, as per Martins advice. I have done this for the programme aim and component aim though so not sure if this is the issue, did you only update your programme aim?
