Functional Skills Legacy Aim - OrigLearnStartDate_07

Created

Hello all,

We have an apprentice who has been on programme for over 3 years with a break in learning in between. The apprentice has legacy functional skills learning aims in their ILR with the start date of 01/08/2019, one month before the functional skills reform. We turned the FS learning aims on a break in learning with the actual end date in February 2020.

The apprentice has now returned to training in January this year, and I need some help in restarting their functional skills aims.  Does the original start date field need to be entered when using the reformed FS learning aim reference numbers?  If so, what date should I use without causing the OrigLearnStartDate_07 error?  Finally, will entering the original start date and confirming the new aim as a restart prevent claiming funding for functional skills a second time?

Cheers!
