dlock_10 and no funding

Created

Hello,

We are getting the dlock_10 errors for change of employment. Usually they were ignored because they were for the old employers. However, recently (21/22), the dlock_10 errors come with the current employer's name and we have 1 apprentice for whom we don't receive funding since August. The first employer stopped on DAS in July 2021 and the new employer started on DAS in July 2021 as well.

How do we solve this dlock_10 showing the current employer's name then receive the funding as well please?

Many thanks.

The 30 day guidance for change of employers is slightly misleading as it is really the gap between the last day in learning with the first employer and the start with the new employer as recorded on DAS.

The help guidance for this is at: https://help.apprenticeships.education.gov.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/4407050719378-Stop-dates-to-use-following-a-change-of-employer-where-the-gap-in-employment-is-30-days-or-less

You should withdrawal and restart.

I had this and it was because we hadn't entered a new TNP3 and TNP4 residual price on the ILR.  The funding then caught up on the next set of Period End reports.

Thank you Both! We had the TNP3 and 4.

Hi Martin, Did you mean withdraw and restart on the ILR? or DAS?

Many thanks.

Hi Martin,

Thank you. Yes, we've read the guidance but both the previous and present employers stopped and started in the same month, July 2021. So we thought they did it correctly. On the ILR, we had TNP3 and 4 on the 19/07/2021. So we don't understand why we have the dlock_10.

Apprentice stopped with the OLD EMPLOYER - 16/07/2021

On DAS STOPPED JULY 2021

Apprentice started with the NEW EMPLOYER -  19/07/2021

On DAS STARTED JULY 2021

Best regards,

You could try a withdraw and restart on the ILR or contact the Apprenticeship service.
