The actual end date for standards is recorded as the end of practical period, which ends at the gateway for end-point assessment and not necessarily the last day in learning held by the tutor/trainer, so yes OTJ training could take place after the last day in learning with Trainer/Tutor but are you sure you are recording the correct actual end date on the ILR as OTJ training should not take place after this date.

OTJ entries - practical period
Created
Hi All,
Having a debate over OTJ entries after the practical period has been completed. My stance on this is that the learners should complete their OTJ before the last learning is held with their trainer/tutor to finalise the practical period aspects (Then move into Gateway). If someone completes their practical aspects with their delivery trainer but realize they are short on OTJ so continue for the next month to work on this area (linking it up to KSB), is there anything that prevents this from been accepted as OTJ entries? or can we use their last OTJ to showcase evidence of Last day in learning for the practical period? (as long as clearly linked).
Many Thanks
