Functional Skills Funding
Created
Good afternoon
We have an apprentice that started with us in September 2018 and went on a BIL in December 2019. We claimed all available funding for FS English & Maths during this period although he failed both assessments (only the S&L element for English) . He returned in September 2021 and is repeating year 1 (obviously we've 'RPL'd' the main aim accordingly). As we've already claimed all FS funding, how should I go about adding the FS learning aims on the ILR as he still needs to complete them. As the restart indicator is set, would it be picked up that no further FS funding is due?
I've looked at the guidance but as usual the harder I hunt, the less relevant information I can find. Any advice welcome.
TIA Louise

No you have to use the adjustment for prior learning or code as FM 99.
Hi was just searching for items on this subject - we have a learner who went on a BIL and we had claimed all funding for one of the FS, she has returned but we are still delivering teaching for the same FS, do we need to add 0 for funding remaining?
