Change of working hours

Morning,

We have a learner that has changed form full time hours to part time hours.  Within the funding rules I can see that we need to change the app/comm agreements, as there will be a need to extend the duration as the learner will not be able to meet the 20% off the job. We will be unable to change the info on the ILR so do I take it this learner will affect our QAR as she will not meet her original planned end date ??  What if we had a few learner that this happened to this would impact QAR is there a code to exclude ???

It would not impact on the QAR as it uses the later of the planned end, achievement and actual end date although for these Apprentices it may push their hybrid end year to a later year than was originally planned.

There is no timely QAR for Apprenticeships.

I expect they will not introduce timely measure in the QAR for Apprenticeships, but this could be superseded by the ESFA’s apprenticeship accountability framework.

This will monitor indicators including Breaks in Learning, Withdrawals and Learners Passed Planned End Dates but the thresholds are high so it should not be an issue where you have a few learners reducing their Hours.
