Traineeships and DWP Restart initiative

Does anyone have experience with traineeship funding and the Restart initiative? We currently have a learner who has been mandated to attend a Restart Course as been on UC for over 9 months. Surely this puts our funding at risk?
Can Restart and Traineeship run along side each other does anyone know?
