Hi All,
I wonder if someone can please help with regards to P147 in the funding rules for exceptions to the regular English and Maths minimum requirements for people with special educational needs, learning difficulties and disabilities.
I have read this as the learner has to have the evidence of EHC, SNE or LDA before starting their apprenticeship, but with only having 8 weeks from induction to get everything sorted and in place for a learner to achieve a functional skill lower at the level required for the standard, but this does seem unfair for people who may not have had the opportunity to have an assessment or haven't been in education for a while and don't realise that they need this extra help.
