Apprenticeships - First day in learning

Hi do any providers use online learning such as a video for first day in learning evidence?
Thinking if we shared the content with the leaner, who then completed an activity which we could track to show they had seen the content and completed an activity on it would that stand up to audit?
There is a section in ILR spec that also makes me think we could share something with the learner. Would an apprenticeship being delivered offsite through teams etc class as distance learning?
"In the case of open learning or distance learning, the date on which the first course material is sent or presented to the learner should be recorded."
