Can someone please clarify. OTJ training hours should not include time taken to complete curriculum assessments; for example we train gas engineers, they receive training on bending copper and using fittings etc for gas pipes, then they are assessed on this by building a frame to specification. The assessment building the frame should not be included in the OTJ hours. Just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. Thanks.

I would expect that you could include OTJ training hours for building a frame to specification, but the assessment hours would be excluded.
