Hi Helen, although I can't directly answer your query we/I do have some experience of transferring in Learners so would be happy to take off line neville@otd.uk.com The old TP we had to transfer in from had been removed from the register and it was really difficult to get any info on the learner (start date/expected end date/how many OPL months had transpired/ULN/original TNP's/plus all personal data from their original application etc etc) The ESFA were not massively helpful in suplying any data and when they did it was around funding used but only spanned the 1 academic year..... guidelines within the ESFA Approenticeship rule handbook are not exactly easy to follow either.
Also I have a similar query but the opposite way round we are about to transfer out several learners to our 'sister' company (seperate RoATP companies, all learners with same employer) as we try to segregate our private sector work from our Apprenticeship/public sector work. So I was looking for some guidance about the best way to make this happen...... Martin any advice please?

Hi, we have a Apprentice who is currently with another Training Provider and wants to transfer to ourselves. This is the first time we have ever dealt with a transfer, can anyone give us advice on what information we need from the previous Provider please? Thanks in advance.
