We have been asked by a Community representative if we would be prepared to make available (under Community Learning) a women only crafts course specifically for Muslim women, some of whom wish to remove their face coverings for comfort. There is a claim of religious constraint but I cannot find any references to religious restrictions to mixed classes. Has anyone else experience of this sort of query? Or advertise and run 'women only' courses in these days of being all too mindful of equality and discrimination?
