A learning difficulty or disability can be evidenced from an Apprentices self-declaration or identified by the provider at any stage during the programme, it is not thought that the funding rules require the specific condition that relates to this to be evidence by a source external to the provider, but it does require documented evidence demonstrating the apprentice’s learning difficulty or disability.
All the evidence requirements for a LSF claim are documented in the funding rules.

Martin West back to my question from last month, in relation to a declaration, if someone hadn't declared this at the start, but it has now come to light, would you ask them to complete a change in circumstance form? Thanks

ALS - Mental Health

Hi,
Can we claim ALS for costs incurred in relation to counselling for apprentices suffering with Mental Health? If so, would we need evidence of an assessment from a doctor or would the assessment from the counsellor be sufficient?
