HI Clare ultimately to keep the hours you need to show that the work placement was planned.
Where an industry placement is recorded, it must contain at least 315 planned hours, additional to the student's T Level or study programme, and it must normally be with no more than two external employers. Key word being planned.
I don't believe that your work placements for T-Levels would be included in your QAR??
We work a basis that if a learner starts and attends their study programme work placement or we can prove that is was due to go ahead we keep the hours for it. We would either have electronic attendance registers and employer reviews too to show the learner attended. If the learner never started their placement we would ask the employer to email us to confirm the work placement durations as audit evidence.
There is some guidance here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/applying-for-and-delivering-industry-placements-capacity-and-delivery-fund-cdf-for-the-2021-to-2022-academic-year
Hope this helps

Industry Placement / Work Exp
Created
Hello.
We have learners who have been enrolled onto Industry Placement (ZWRKX002) all academic year (21/22). They however didn't complete enough hours for Industry Placement (min 315hrs). What's the best way to record this aim? Withdrawn and to what date? Planned end? Actual End? And should I be enrolling them onto the Work Exp aim (ZWRKX001) to cover the work exp they did actually complete?
Thanks for any advice you can offer.
