Functional Skills RPL - Divorce
Created
None
Hello All,
We have a learner who has provided both English and maths evidence for Functional Skills. The certificates are in the learners married name however, has since been divorced so no longer has a marriage certificate to prove the name change.
Is it possible to use the D37 Decree of Absolute as evidence to support RPL?

I’m not sure I understand why being divorced means she doesn’t have access to her marriage certificate.
Can she not obtain a copy like you can for birth certificates?
As a back up (and assuming this is for an apprentice) I’d suggest asking the EPAO.
